Enabling and Using the HighMatch Connector for ADP

This integration deployment guide will provide you with a preview of what to expect for connecting ADP with HighMatch.

HighMatch Usage Flow Summary

  • The integration will trigger an assessment order when the candidate is moved to the HighMatch assessment applicant workflow and will send an invitation for the assessment to the candidate.
  • HighMatch will display the assessment status of the HighMatch stage in ADP and update the candidate’s profile if the assessment was successfully sent to the candidate or not.
  • When the candidate has completed the assessment, HighMatch will post the assessment score and detailed report to the ADP HighMatch assessment results stage on the candidate profile.

Summary of the Integration Deployment Guide

ADP requires the HighMatch integration to be enabled on their end using configurations that are only accessible by an ADP representative.

To start, you must first schedule a meeting with an ADP implementation specialist or a support representative who will walk you through the entire process of both enabling and using the HighMatch integration on ADP. This guide will provide you with a brief preview of what to expect during your meeting with ADP.

Note: We recommend that you schedule a meeting with ADP support as soon as possible, considering the scheduling process may take some time.

Process Preview

Step 1: Reach out to the ADP Team

As part of ADP’s services, their team will help guide you through the enabling process as well as show you how to use the HighMatch integration on ADP. Here is some of what to expect:

  • An ADP representative will send you a questionnaire to gather basic information. 
  • Here you can also schedule a kickoff call to ask any questions as well as to discuss the following:
    • Different Integration Workflows.
    • Technical Configurations. 
    • Usage Demos and Validations.
    • Going Live Preparation.

Step 2: ADP will work with HighMatch to Enable the Connector

ADP will send all of the information gathered from the questionnaire, on your behalf to HighMatch. HighMatch will configure and enable the webhook, and confirm with ADP that the integration has been enabled and is working correctly.

Step 3: Testing

Your ADP representative and HighMatch will help you test the HighMatch integration with a test job and test candidate to learn how to use the connector. 

The following steps will be covered during testing:

  1. Setting and sorting the HighMatch stage in your hiring process.
  2. Assigning each HighMatch assessment to the corresponding job, including the option to select which assessment the candidate will receive. 
  3. Sending the assessment invitation to a candidate.  
  4. Viewing the candidate’s assessment status and confirming the assessment was sent successfully.
  5. Receiving and viewing a candidate’s assessment score and detailed report on their profile.
