In-person hiring process

The talent acquisition team at this leading home health company is responsible for hiring nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care in the home from birth to end of life in 300 different locations across 30 states.

At the start of 2020, the team’s hiring process was mostly in-person and consisted of two custom skills tests which were hand-scored and graded. Once COVID hit, the team realized their traditional high-contact hiring model was no longer feasible, prompting them to pursue a virtual hiring process.

The shift to virtual hiring required a seamless transition and the need for a remote-friendly, automated solution to assess nursing candidates effectively.

HighMatch’s technical team worked closely with Ian and his colleagues to create a road map for a successful build and deployment. In addition, HighMatch listened to the needs of the clinical team and leaders to determine how testing and grading would work. 

Once the team saw the final product, they were impressed with the system’s ease of use for the candidates and internal users. The platform streamlined the testing process, replacing manual assessments with efficient, candidate-friendly digital skills tests.
